Ornamental gardens
The need to grow herbs and vegetables accelerated the need to have gardens and their beautification and caressing started there on. Ancient Egypt is the source of Ornamental gardens. Rich Egyptians used gardens to relax under the shade they provided. They associated them with gods and the structure was made on the guidelines suiting the needs. There were different types of species planted by them, like, date palms, nut trees, fig trees and willows. Other than this they also grew vineyards since wine was their favored beverage. Along with this, they even grew different kinds of flowers to decorate their gardens and premises.
