Ants labor the most

Ants are an imperative part of the garden ecosystem. Ants are cleaners; they eat and assist decompose organic substance in the soil, enriching the soil. Ants also eat pest insects such as fleas, fly larvae and termites. Ants tunneling in the soil develop ventilation that is useful to plant roots.
On the other hand ants can be pests as well. Ant pests can be warded off or killed. Large ant nests in the center of the garden are a worry as these ants may be eating young plants and taming insect pests. Pest ants should be eradicated before they invade the garden.
