Kids and gardening

Due to the noted lack of love and care for nature in our present generations, schools and colleges have come out with a separate subject where students are compelled to pay attention towards gardening and environmental knowledge. Children from the age group of 7-8 yrs are being enlightened on the subject. Various competitions and rewards in the field have generated immense interest in the field and students are increasingly attracted to becoming more and more proficient in the field of gardening. Apart from this, students are initiated towards planting one tree on their birthday every year and with all these activities, parents are also educated indirectly.
