Raising shoots

To raise a plant is like raising a child. Gardening is a hobby of the sensitive and the artistic. Much care has to be taken of the seedlings before they peak out as shoots from the surface of the soil and at the same time a fine sense of taste will make sure that the plants grows up to be a beautiful sight. Some plants are rare and others are commonly found but all of them require care and attention. Plants are to be loved as one loves his children and must not be treated as a showpiece. A good gardener treats his garden as a part of his home and his plants as family.
