Aquatic gardens


An interesting possibility to decorate the external garden and spaces in the home is the aquatic gardening. In this technique, the vital thing is to know the properties of the water and the flowers and plants that can be developed in it. At the same time, it is necessary to inquire on the importance of the drainage.
By dominating the possibilities of the aquatic gardening, a personal and exotic design in our garden can be obtained. It is known that the water is a source of life, but in this case, it grows and lives the plants.
In principle, it is necessary to fit to the dimensions of the pool or source where properties of aquatic ecosystem can be developed according to the dimensions of the garden, in order to obtain a harmony that allows the coexistence of the different elements without majors inconvenient to aesthetic.

The pools can be made in different materials, like concrete, lamina of butyl or had brick. The important thing is to consult a professional in relation to the terrain features, since otherwise the pressure exerted by the water can get to be excessive.

The decoration also allows many variants, like natural elements like trunks or stones. When artificial elements are used, always look for the symmetrical lines and the order, whereas in the natural gardens 100% spontaneity is privileged.

As far as the indicated vegetal species for aquatic means, some of the possibilities are: the Nelumbo Sp, with pink flowers and ample necessity of light, Calla Palustris, special to resist the changes of temperature, the Nympahea Odorata, the Iris Pseudacorus or the Acorus Calamus, in all the cases, these vegetal species support the direct solar light.
