The Aroma of My Garden

For many plant lovers, the smell plays an important role in enjoying a garden. The fragrance adds an ineffable, almost magical quality to a planting program to improve the beauty of flowers by the addition of scented breezes sometimes from the direction of the garden.
The perfumed flowers are able to draw the attention of two of our senses simultaneously, instead of one.
A fragrance garden also has a wonderful ability to trigger memory, so often the fragrance of the flower that attract our attention most are the ones that reminds us of a love.
The leaves can be scented flowers and, like any herb lover can attest. The fragrances of lavender increases the perfume of the garden and the flowers and plants like mint are often visited by a pleasant smell of its leaves that can occur when rubbed.
Many plants maintain their flavor well enough to be dried and used in the manufacture of perfumes, a way to keep the reminder of a fragrance garden all year around.
